Gestión Medioambiental de Neumáticos (GMN) bases its business on the integral management of end-of-life tyres, separating their components and recycling the rubber to be reused.

The company, which was founded in 2001, is a pioneer in obtaining recycling solutions in its sector due to its stance on rubber processing technology. The company is owned by COMSA Corporación, one of the main Spanish groups in the area of infrastructures, engineering, the environment and technology.

GMN is a member of SIGNUS, a non-profit institution that regulates the collection and management of 80% of the used tyres in Spain and which watches over good practices in the sector.

The Catalan Waste Agency of the Generalitat of Catalonia recently awarded GMN the “Design Prize for Recycling”, in the category of materials for the rubber dust of end-of-life tyres.

The company's plant in Maials (Lleida) has environmental authorisations to process 45,000 tonnes of tyres and to store up to 20,600 tonnes.
